Since my baby came 5 weeks early, I found my schedule unexpectedly clear in April. My fellow Hypnobabies instructor had some schedule conflicts and could not teach the April class, so I jumped right in, with baby Lila in tow. My daughter Hannah is so excited this week as a representative from Monkey World (Ape Rescue Centre), has come into her school to tell them all about the Monkeys and their home in Wareham, Dorset. Spring Break is here and so is my cousin Nikita from Toronto, Canada. This is her first trip to California so the girls and I thought we would take her to one of our favourite places, Santa Monica. A city known for the famous Santa Monica Pier, eclectic energy, shopping, restaurants, and more shopping.

Our first family holiday with our new edition!Written by Marie HouldenSo with the holiday booked, I have already started to think about what I need to take with me and how I am going to strategically pack it into the car. The Mountain Buggy terrain is quite a bit bigger than my previous pushchairs, so I am fearful that something may have to stay behind. My mind starts to reel will it be the kids bucket and spades and other essential toys, or am I going to have to forfeit some of my clothes!
I’m a member of the Strollers and Prams forum, and this is a question I get a lot from potential buyers wanting to gauge my opinion of the Mountain Buggy duet now I am owned it for 6 months. My answer is; YES! I adore it. It is a sanity saver.
We came across this post on a top influential parenting forum in Australia, by a mum who was making an important purchasing decision on what the best double buggy was for her and her kids. We got in contact with her and got her permission to post here, as it gives valuable insight into the all important decisions to make when purchasing a new double buggy! Thanks Amelia, and welcome to the wonderful world of Mountain Buggy! Well, I guess I didn't want to linger over it... so we have made a purchase: The Mountain Buggy duet! Haven't taken it out yet, but this was my shopping experience (for those looking for the same sort of thing). My "due date" or "guess date" as we say in Hypnobabies (the childbirth education program that I teach and that I used to prepare for Baby Jaguar's birth), was March 27, but my baby had other plans. She came at 35 weeks on Mardi Gras, in fact! I say that she didn't want to miss the parties: Mardi Gras, her sister's birthday and St. Patrick's Day.
Today I took delivery of my new Mountain Buggy terrain and I am just so excited! I feel like a child who has woken up on their birthday morning with a huge sense of anticipation at the big brown box in the middle of the room and an uncontrollable desire to lose control and simply rip open the box without a care in the world!

Up until Sofia was born, we had a Mountain Buggy swift to cart around our oldest daughter Ariana, and while it was awesome and totally suited us in every way, we needed to accommodate another passenger who was soon to arrive.
