Size does matter - a bold and somewhat leading statement, but one that resonates well when talking about Mountain Buggy’s most compact, yet fully featured side-by-side, the duetTM.
Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside! What a strange summer we are having here in NSW Australia. The weather has been far from “normal”. Hot this year has been 30 degrees Celsius compared to last year's 43, and the days hitting 30 have been few and far between with most days sitting in the early to mid 20’s.
Mountain Buggy terrain is the official sponsor of Baby Boot Camp, and along with Karna Fitness, they are challenging women to get in the best shape of their lives with their three-month Mother Love Fitness Challenge. Aimed to motivate and improve physical fitness, motor fitness and eating habits, MOLO is about challenging and being the best woman you can be. It's getting close to the countdown of the 2012 MOLO Fitness Challenge, and we hear from last year's winner Adrienne on how she challenged AND conquered, living life without limit! At Mountain Buggy, we live and breathe our brand philosophy 'life without limit', and this is further enhanced with the Mountain Buggy terrain™ being the official stroller of Baby Boot Camp, the premier USA stroller-fitness program.
With both brands having such a strong desire to enhance and enrich the lives of families around the world to get active and live life without limit, it makes sense to kickstart the year with a post from the Baby Boot Camp founder and CEO Kristen Horler, to bring us into 2012 with a positive mind and positive goals!
The Walking School Bus has had much success since the launch in November, 2011. The kids love walking to school, and slowly but surely our regular walkers are convincing their friends to join them. ![]() Mountain Buggy are all about getting families out there and living life without limit! But what about helping those with no children? Late last year, we were approached with a peculiar proposal by James Thomas - a photographer, filmmaker and aspiring adventurer, to sponsor him with the all mighty Mountain Buggy terrain.
I never knew when I was expecting our first baby that once I was a mum, I would also become a pramaholic! Over the years, I’ve managed to avoid the common compulsions for shoes, clothes and make up. But buggies are a different story, to the point where my husband would describe me as being obsessed with buggies. He just doesn’t understand the attraction of buggies to me, and thinks I’ve gone insane. The Christmas ornaments were one of the few things we could easily find after our move. However, since everything else was EVERYWHERE else all over the house, we decided to keep Christmas decorations small this year.
I am 26 weeks along with baby #3, AKA 'Baby Jaguar'. You can get an idea about my first trimester in that the kids' suggestions for names are "Dora" and "Diego" (cartoon characters from kids shows). When I told them that I didn't think we'd be using those names, Ian said,"OK, how about 'Boots' or 'Baby Jaguar'?" (More characters from those shows). We did not find out the sex of #3. We've decided to be surprised this time so we can't name the baby before he/she is born, and I decided to throw the kids a bone and call the baby, "Baby Jaguar" until birth.
We left Korea at the end of July, and had several departure dates to complete our move that came and went for various reasons. |
