Originally developed for the New Zealand outdoors, our baby buggies are designed to handle active living. Follow these simple care tips and your Mountain Buggy® will keep performing and looking great for years.
Fabric washing instructions
Seats and sunhoods can be removed easily for washing. Hand wash in luke warm water with a mild laundry soap. Rinse and drip dry. Do not spin or tumble dry. Soak heavy dirt overnight.
Storing your buggy
All Mountain Buggy® models can be stored upright. All buggies produced since 2006 feature a fold lock, which stops the stroller from accidentally unfolding. Older models have a hand strap with domes for the same purpose.
Foam grip replacement
Damage to the foam grip happens with normal wear and tear. It is not covered by your warranty but we can replace it for you at your cost. There are two ways to replace the foam grip.
1. Order a replacement foam grip kit from any Mountain Buggy® stockist. Please state if you have a single or double stroller. Depending on when your stroller was made you may need a rivet gun and/or drill to do the replacement. The foam grip replacement kit includes full instructions. Find a stockist.
2. Have the grip replaced by a registered Mountain Buggy® service agent. Please contact us or visit your local stockist for more information.
Three year warranty
We offer a fully transferable three year warranty on all 2008 model Mountain Buggy® strollers. A one year warranty also applies on any authorised Mountain Buggy® accessory. Check the warranty conditions in the instruction booklet that came with your buggy.
