We had Halloween and I took the kids trick-or-treating. I decided to bring the stroller in case Eva got tired. Lately, she likes to walk whenever she can but for Halloween, she enjoyed the ride.
Our little October escape to Hawaii is coming to an end. The weather has been perfect the whole trip, and we've had a great time. New to our Mountain Buggy team, Brittany joins us as the latest Brand Ambassador in the USA! In need of more adventure, she attended her first Baby Boot Camp class and boy did she learn alot about fitness with buggy, as well as how awesome the Mountain Buggy is when exercising! She shares her experience... I attended a Baby Boot Camp class during my very first "excellent adventure" in Miami, FL as a new Brand Ambassador. I had heard about the program but found that none of us in the office really knew what exactly the class was about. I figured I should be the token BA to participate in a class, since my fellow in-office BA's are big bald men and probably wouldn't feel too comfortable working out with a bunch of moms and their strollers! The 2011 JPMA Innovation Award winners were announced recently at the ABC Kids Expo in Kentucky USA, with 10 innovative products taking top honors, one of which went to Mountain Buggy’s freerider with connector 2! What an honor it was to be nominated for such innovation prowess but wow, what a feeling to win!
We are off into the city today for Quinn’s speech therapy appointment. It is a 40 minute train trip, but essential for him as he has Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
Hubby is a private hire driver, so we had no family holiday in the summer (because if he takes time off we have no income!). We saved up though, and went last weekend to Blackpool for the Illuminations and had a fab time! :-D (Check out what the illuminations is all about here!) When I last blogged, I was preparing for my move from Korea back to the United States. I really didn't want to leave, but we are going to the Philadelphia area and I am sure it will be great once we get settled in. In 2009, the phil&teds Buggies for Good program gifted a Mountain Buggy to a family in Vanuatu, and what a lovely surprise our team got when we received an email from the Trust (who assists the island) two years on with a gorgeous note and photo, sharing with us how the family is getting on, and how the Mountain Buggy is still very much a part of their lives!
