The kids are finally over the chicken pox with poor wee Holly catching them a week before Christmas and she was miserable. It’s taken her two weeks to get back to her normal self, so we decided to get away for a couple of days before Warren has to go back to work on the 10th January.

Living overseas attached to the US government, we are lucky enough to be able to order things from the US through the US mail. There are some size restrictions and not all places will ship to us, but we are able to get the comforts of home at the push of a button at US prices.

Well Christmas started off without a hitch. Olivia slept through the night and woke at 6:30am ready to go.

Seasons Greetings! Today I am feeling merry, jolly, jovial and all of that good stuff. This is probably mostly due to the insane sleep deprivation that I have endured for the past few days. Now that I have a baby, I understand in full why sleep deprivation is used as a torture device. Seriously.

I've traveled a lot in the 4 years that I have been a parent. Ian's first trip was from the US to Egypt at 11 weeks old. Here is my experience traveling with children and some quick tips to help ease the pressure.
