Go England / Hermosa Beach Summer festivalsGo England! Go England! I know we live in America, and are absolutely thrilled about living in Hermosa Beach, California but before, during and after the Olympics we are still English at heart! The girls decided they wanted to be patriotic and put on their matching England outfits for a stroll down to the beach.

Summer on the StrandHermosa Beach is always such a fun place to be in the summer! You can't beat those surfer dudes waiting to catch that perfect wave (my husband included), our neighbours in other cities leaving the hot weather inland to enjoy a cool, breezy beach day, the oversea tourists stopping by after they have seen Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive to see what all the fuss is about, and the locals walking along the strand with their children, friends and pets.

Mountain Buggy duet and joeyHere I was lamenting the possibility of giving up my duet. Quinn is at preschool now and is starting school next year so the Mountain Buggy duet was being used less and less. I was really not looking forward to giving it up, so when I stumbled across a tweet about joey, I literally jumped up and down in excitement. This was it! This was exactly what I needed, especially as a non-driver the extra storage space is essential. I loved the flexibility of being able to put the second seat back on if I am spending a full day out that requires another seat. It really is a win/win!

Breaking out Big BlueMy youngest is almost 3 months old now. I've been using the Mountain Buggy swift carrycot because my other children walk most of the time. The other day, I decided to walk into town for a coffee and take the baby and the 3 year old. It was too far for my 3 year old to walk so I got out our Mountain Buggy urban double.

On your Mark... Get Set... "Stop Talking, Start Walking!"We arrived at the Redondo Beach 10K, bright and early in order to enter the costume contest. Teah and Skye wore their 'Go Green' cheerleading outfits and stood on stage reciting their walking chant, emphasizing the health benefits of walking. The walking message was received graciously, and the girls won a prize!

Size mattersSize does matter - a bold and somewhat leading statement, but one that resonates well when talking about Mountain Buggy’s most compact, yet fully featured side-by-side, the duetTM.

It's a mummy thing!I never knew when I was expecting our first baby that once I was a mum, I would also become a pramaholic! Over the years, I’ve managed to avoid the common compulsions for shoes, clothes and make up. But buggies are a different story, to the point where my husband would describe me as being obsessed with buggies. He just doesn’t understand the attraction of buggies to me, and thinks I’ve gone insane.
