We've been going for a walks to the playground and beach most mornings since we got our new pram. This used to be an occasional treat for the Apple Blossom Daycare children as it used to be a lot of work getting them all there but now thanks to the Duet and Freerider its an easy and pleasant walk.

According to a study published in the July 2012 Journal of Physical Activity and Health, when parents increase their activity levels, so do their children. Running outside with your children in tow not only helps you achieve your own fitness goals, it encourages kids to be active. Fitting in running while raising small children can be challenging, but with a little preparation and patience you can achieve your running goals in no time.

Here I was lamenting the possibility of giving up my duet. Quinn is at preschool now and is starting school next year so the Mountain Buggy duet was being used less and less. I was really not looking forward to giving it up, so when I stumbled across a tweet about joey, I literally jumped up and down in excitement. This was it! This was exactly what I needed, especially as a non-driver the extra storage space is essential. I loved the flexibility of being able to put the second seat back on if I am spending a full day out that requires another seat. It really is a win/win!

I’m a member of the Strollers and Prams forum, and this is a question I get a lot from potential buyers wanting to gauge my opinion of the Mountain Buggy duet now I am owned it for 6 months. My answer is; YES! I adore it. It is a sanity saver.

Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside! What a strange summer we are having here in NSW Australia. The weather has been far from “normal”. Hot this year has been 30 degrees Celsius compared to last year's 43, and the days hitting 30 have been few and far between with most days sitting in the early to mid 20’s.
