Time to reflect2012 is nearly over, work has finished at HQ, and Christmas is fast approaching. And while I am excited about the 2 week holiday coming my way, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic. It’s been an insane year, and when I reflect back to the past 355 days gone by, one tune plays through my mind - a Beatles classic: “I get by with a little help from my friends”. Here I am, top left, hanging with my marketing team at our crazy Christmas party!

Decisions, decisions! We came across this post on a top influential parenting forum in Australia, by a mum who was making an important purchasing decision on what the best double buggy was for her and her kids. We got in contact with her and got her permission to post here, as it gives valuable insight into the all important decisions to make when purchasing a new double buggy! Thanks Amelia, and welcome to the wonderful world of Mountain Buggy! Well, I guess I didn't want to linger over it... so we have made a purchase: The Mountain Buggy duet! Haven't taken it out yet, but this was my shopping experience (for those looking for the same sort of thing).

The perfect stroller solution! We received this story from a mum in the USA, who looked far and wide for the perfect stroller for her precious daughter. Such a heart warming story shared, and it really gave the Mountain Buggy team the warmest of fuzzies to know that our new inline system - +one - has helped a family in need! Read more of Kristy and Bella's story... I'd like to share our story in hopes that it may serve as a stroller solution to parents who have special needs children.

The buggy that keeps on giving! In 2009, the phil&teds Buggies for Good program gifted a Mountain Buggy to a family in Vanuatu, and what a lovely surprise our team got when we received an email from the Trust (who assists the island) two years on with a gorgeous note and photo, sharing with us how the family is getting on, and how the Mountain Buggy is still very much a part of their lives! Read the letter below...

Moving on up!When I started the blogging for Mountain Buggy, I couldn't possibly have predicted the highs and lows that I was to endure in a short space of time. We have had yet more car troubles (including a car crash), and we have had some challenging times personally. But I am one of the lucky ones, where I have a good, solid marriage that always gets us through, making the big wheel turns!

Bramble Bear's adventure rideI've been slacking on the blogging front as I seemed to have gotten caught up in the parenting whirlwind - it’s been crazy! I'm sure there are a few of you who can relate to that.

Brighton's 'Buggy One' Wonder! We made an international callout for some lucky parents to be our first ever terrain product champions in 2010! These guys were the first in the market and provided some amazing insight into how the terrain performed for their everyday needs. We catch up with Connie Wisdoms, an awesome lady and mum of 5 based in the UK.

Tribute to a good friendIt's been a tough and sad week for all of us here at HQ. Last week our beloved repairman Ruti Olive suffered a stroke - he had been in intensive care all week and all signs were positive - so it was with great shock and sadness to hear that Ruti had passed away on Friday morning.

My week so far...This weekend has been a bit of a hit and miss with what we were hoping to do, predictably the weather was a huge factor in that! The kids have been desperate to get to the park and the rain had put that on hold.
