Walking in the rainThe school year is wrapping up and we had our pre-school field trip to the zoo this week. It was rainy (of course), but not enough to cancel. I tried to scrounge up umbrellas for all of us, but could only find two. I told Ian and Eva they would have to share and hoped it wouldn't pour.

Breaking out Big BlueMy youngest is almost 3 months old now. I've been using the Mountain Buggy swift carrycot because my other children walk most of the time. The other day, I decided to walk into town for a coffee and take the baby and the 3 year old. It was too far for my 3 year old to walk so I got out our Mountain Buggy urban double.

Continuing educationSince my baby came 5 weeks early, I found my schedule unexpectedly clear in April. My fellow Hypnobabies instructor had some schedule conflicts and could not teach the April class, so I jumped right in, with baby Lila in tow.

There's a baby in my buggy! My "due date" or "guess date" as we say in Hypnobabies (the childbirth education program that I teach and that I used to prepare for Baby Jaguar's birth), was March 27, but my baby had other plans. She came at 35 weeks on Mardi Gras, in fact! I say that she didn't want to miss the parties: Mardi Gras, her sister's birthday and St. Patrick's Day.

Here we go again…Written by Nick and Francine S. When our second daughter was almost upon us we faced the dilemma of having 2 kids armed with just one buggy. Up until Sofia was born, we had a Mountain Buggy swift to cart around our oldest daughter Ariana, and while it was awesome and totally suited us in every way, we needed to accommodate another passenger who was soon to arrive.

Getting ready for Baby #3I am 26 weeks along with baby #3, AKA 'Baby Jaguar'. You can get an idea about my first trimester in that the kids' suggestions for names are "Dora" and "Diego" (cartoon characters from kids shows). When I told them that I didn't think we'd be using those names, Ian said,"OK, how about 'Boots' or 'Baby Jaguar'?" (More characters from those shows). We did not find out the sex of #3. We've decided to be surprised this time so we can't name the baby before he/she is born, and I decided to throw the kids a bone and call the baby, "Baby Jaguar" until birth.
