The 2012 Urchfont Scarecrow Festival!

So with another wet and windy May Bank Holiday upon us, we pack up the car with the children, supplies and our trusty Mountain Buggy terrain and head up to Wiltshire to visit the grandparents. Being avid walkers we won’t let a little bit of wind and rain stop us, and so I double check that I have got the storm cover for the terrain in the car. I love that it folds down so neatly and sits snugly in the gear tray.

Take it out!

By Kristen Horler, CEO & Founder of Baby Boot Camp

The weather is improving and we’re all excited to get outside! With summer weather approaching fast, a little sunshine and fresh air will do you (and your little one) a world of good. Our stroller-based interval workout will take you 15-20 minutes to complete, (not including warm-up and cool down).

An Active Combination!

Mountain Buggy Active is something I am proud of. A community area housed within the main Mountain Buggy website, that talks to you, that inspires you, and is about you! This is your playground, and a place which captures the very essence of our great Mountain Buggy philosophy - of enabling families around the world to get out there and live life without limit.

Walking in the rain

The school year is wrapping up and we had our pre-school field trip to the zoo this week. It was rainy (of course), but not enough to cancel. I tried to scrounge up umbrellas for all of us, but could only find two. I told Ian and Eva they would have to share and hoped it wouldn't pour.

Breaking out Big Blue

My youngest is almost 3 months old now. I've been using the Mountain Buggy swift carrycot because my other children walk most of the time. The other day, I decided to walk into town for a coffee and take the baby and the 3 year old. It was too far for my 3 year old to walk so I got out our Mountain Buggy urban double.

Continuing education

Since my baby came 5 weeks early, I found my schedule unexpectedly clear in April. My fellow Hypnobabies instructor had some schedule conflicts and could not teach the April class, so I jumped right in, with baby Lila in tow.

Monkey business!

My daughter Hannah is so excited this week as a representative from Monkey World (Ape Rescue Centre), has come into her school to tell them all about the Monkeys and their home in Wareham, Dorset.

Life without limit

Speed limits. Backyard fences. Seatbelts. Instructions. Baby gates. Warning labels. Does that list make you cringe thinking, “Rules, rules, rules! What about carpe diem? Don’t fence me in!”  Maybe a list of limits or restrictions makes you feel like stretching your wings a little bit.

A day out in Santa Monica

Spring Break is here and so is my cousin Nikita from Toronto, Canada. This is her first trip to California so the girls and I thought we would take her to one of our favourite places, Santa Monica. A city known for the famous Santa Monica Pier, eclectic energy,  shopping, restaurants, and more shopping.
