A guest blog written by one of our biggest fans in the UK - Theresa, mum of six including twins! Now proud owner of the compact side-by-side - the duet!

Being a mum of twins has many challenges - one of those being choosing a double pushchair to get out and about with. Luckily I like shopping for pushchairs. It's no secret that I love my Mountain Buggy and phil&teds, and my latest purchase is the new Mountain Buggy duet, a slimline side-by-side double pushchair suitable from birth to around 5yrs.

Finally, Wellington gets hit with the white powered ‘good stuff’, a real treat for Wellingtonians where this type of weather phenomenon is a once in a lifetime occurrence!

When I started the blogging for Mountain Buggy, I couldn't possibly have predicted the highs and lows that I was to endure in a short space of time. We have had yet more car troubles (including a car crash), and we have had some challenging times personally. But I am one of the lucky ones, where I have a good, solid marriage that always gets us through, making the big wheel turns!

I took my beloved little car in for regular maintenance and left my second vehicle - my Mountain Buggy urban double - in the garage temporarily, just until my car was back from the shop. Usually my stroller is neatly tucked away in my trunk so it’s ready for our family’s next adventure, but for one night it was left exposed...

It is another lovely summer day in Hermosa Beach and as a friend and I head down to the beach, with our girls sitting pretty in their duo strollers, I decide to have a little friendly competition to see which stroller is superior... my Mountain Buggy or her stroller.

I know very little about cars; the makes, models and features. My husband notices cars and will point out the interesting ones, but I don't look for them, or at them much on my own. But once I had a child and started researching gear, I found myself being able to differentiate stroller models based on the wheels, fabric or a glimpse of the hood.

School’s out and my walking to school program is at rest until the fall but I wasn’t going to let the residents of Hermosa Beach off that easy, I was going to make sure they continued walking throughout the summer. I had a plan!

We are one of the many families who enjoy... no... LOVE our Mountain Buggy stroller! We live in the Eagle Harbour community of West Vancouver... so, about as far West as you can be in this fair country without swimming.

We’d often heard from parents all around the world that their ultimate dream buggy would be a Mountain Buggy inline - an Mountain Buggy that really grows with the family, and is big on adventure!

I was asked to appear in the Mountain Buggy duet video along with my toddler and newborn. I was intrigued about this side-by-side, as I currently have one from another brand, and I just couldn’t get my head around the ‘same width as a single buggy’ concept. I mean, is this for real?!
