School’s out and my walking to school program is at rest until the fall but I wasn’t going to let the residents of Hermosa Beach off that easy, I was going to make sure they continued walking throughout the summer. I had a plan!

I put my walking to even better use this past weekend, when I walked in the LA Revlon Walk for breast cancer, and other women’s cancer... Womentum.

Students at Hermosa View absolutely love Skip to School Wednesdays! They are so enthusiastic about walking  to school that they forget to walk, they skip! I walk a group of 10 kids in Teah’s class to school with me every Wednesday, and watching them hold hands, laugh, and skip to school is very inspiring, not to mention super cute to watch.
