I like that it's New Zealand made

Just a quick note to say we really love our Mountain Buggy 'Urban' and the carrycot attachment. We particularly like that it is New Zealand made.
We never have problems getting our twin girls Gabriella and Bianca to settle in their carrycot. I sometime wish I was a bit smaller myself. It looks so cosy.

Thanks for your comment Ann. Yes Mountain Buggy strollers can be used for newborns and they have passed international safety standards for this. The 08 product range now lies even flatter. However, some people still prefer to use a carrycot for the snugness and convenience of moving their sleeping baby in and out of their buggy.

I've just bought our Monutain Buggy, but not had the chance to use it yet, as I'm not due until August. But was just wondering if it is necessary to get the carrycot also??? Is it really ok for a newborn to be in the buggy, without lying completley flat? If it was ok, I was just thinking of getting the sleeping bag seeing as it'll be a winter baby? Do you think this will be enough? I've had conflicting stories from friends and sales people. If anyone ahs any advise as to what they did, that would be great.
thanks x
