My 90 day probation

When you start a job, it’s common to be put on a 90 day probationary period. Lately, I feel like my life is on a 90 day probation! In only 3 months, this little girl that’s been dancing around in my belly will be here and I have so many “tasks” to complete before I’ll actually be ready as a mom!
I’ve started making my “to-do” list: daycare, pediatrician, baby’s room, gear, classes, cleaning, etc. Hubby and I happily found a daycare this week. That one was a toughy! Of course I don’t want her to be cared for by anyone but us. The reality is, we will be a full time working parents and need to plan for that. The daycare center that we found is only 10 minutes from my work and has a wonderful curriculum – even for infants! Not only do we feel comfortable leaving her there but we are actually EXCITED for her to have such a great opportunity!
Next on the list is finding a pediatrician. Being a first time mom, I literally have no idea what questions to ask or even what I am looking for. So I guess this is my next project! My strategy will be online research for questions and I will post to a local baby forum for recommendations. Wish me luck!

Gosh you sound like a big planner like me! Good to get childcare sorted as harder to get into the good ones and babies do love the other babies. It is great to have really quality, one on one time with your little one for half an hour when you get home from work. Re Pediatriton selection; like any doctor just go with your gut feel, you will know if it feels right.
