The duet arrives!

Introducing the very lovely Mel and her family, as they they embark on a Mountain Buggy journey with their latest arrival the Mountain Buggy duet!
Close at hand, we get an insight of the little duet's thoughts as he starts a new life with his new family!

Diary of a Duet
I am on my way somewhere, I am not sure where I am going, but I’ve been travelling a long time…The truck stops…I am carried out, through the box I can hear excited giggling and clapping. Who are they? Where am I??

The box is opened; oh the light is so bright! And there are two very excited faces staring down at me. The two little boys snuggle into my lap. It was then I knew where I was; I was HOME!

Mel’s Diary
Hi, my name is Mel! I am 35 and a stay-at-home mother of four very busy boys. We live in the picturesque Lake Macquarie region in NSW Australia. To say I am a Mountain Buggy fan is probably a bit of an understatement. Over the past three years I have had in our household, 2 x urban, an urban double, a breeze, a swift, a duo, a new model terrain and now the duet! I don’t drive, so for me it is very important that my buggy can keep up with me. It needs to go where I want to go and do what I want to do - and Mountain Buggy fits that bill.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive the duet! From the moment I heard about it, I was enthralled. A side-by-side no wider then a single stroller - how what that possible?!! Yet here it is in it’s narrow glory and the tape measure does not lie! At it’s widest point it is narrower then some of the other well known single strollers. So the seats must be tiny right? Wrong!! The seat backs are nice and tall and the hood clearance is fantastic. My 3.5yr old is very tall for his age, but he fits in the seat and loves riding in it. He even had a snooze in it this afternoon!

On our very first outing we passed a group of women coming into the lift as we were exiting. One made a comment that could not have been better if it were scripted! I kid you not, she said, “Gee that one is skinnier than it looks isn’t it?!”
