Disappointed but only option for our buggy

 0/5

This was the only option for a parent facing seat on our buggy but I am not impressed. No option to lie flat which would have been preferred. The position is too upright and is concerning when my son falls asleep. Whilst I love our buggy it really needs an option for parent facing and lie flat.

Could be good...

Face to face seat

I was sad about having to finish using the mountain buggy bassinet, then I saw this!!! I am so happy I purchased it as I was not ready to put my 6 month old forward facing. I absolutely love it & so does my daughter. I will be sad when she grows out of it.

want this!

Please make one for the swift model! I would definitely purchase one if you did!

Great concept but overall disappointed

 2/5

I love the idea of this and it's a great concept but I've been a bit disappointed. The harness is poor quality- difficult to open. The sunshade fits funny with it and doesn't look like a finished pram... No storm cover or suncover makes it a bit impractical too. It's also quite upright - feels a bit too upright for a sleeping baby but fine when awake.

Daughter disliked

i brought it about a month ago now and have tried it for my daughter and as I'm unable to change the angle of the seat to lay flatter, my daughter just screamed and cried the whole time instead of sleeping like she would in the normal seat fabric when layed down

Great purchase

Works well apart from the sunhood. The sun hood as mentioned by other people can't actually go over the face to face seat on my MB terrain which is annoying. Especially as in the picture it looks like it can. Otherwise no complaints and does as it specifies. Will be interesting to see how it goes as my baby grows.

Easy to use and comfy for baby!

We bought this as our long baby grew out of the bassinet before I was ready for him to face away from me. I love it for this and it is so nice to be able to watch him as we stroll. One of the reviews mentioned that there were no comfort pads on the straps, but we just 'borrowed' the ones from our main stroller since we aren't using it. Once our son is ready to graduate to the main stroller, we'll move them back!

We have a Terrain and the product description states that the stroller hood fits over the seat, and in the picture, it looks ok, however when I tried to do this, it meant that my son had no shade on his face, and I couldn't drape a cloth over it as it would end up touching his face. I ended up putting the hood on backwards (the attachments swivel) which looks a little odd, but provides more function.

This is probably not possible, but I would have loved it if there was a way for the clips that attach this seat to the buggy to be on at the same time as the car seat adapter. Probably too much to ask for but it would make my life a lot easier rather than having to take these clips off each time!

Despite these two points, I have loved this seat and am so glad I bought it and my son has been very comfortable with his new ride! We're about ready to graduate to the main stroller and I'm going to miss looking him in the eyes as we walk!

Great, but please make one for larger children!

Works like a charm, perfect that it can be transformed into a travel baby-sitter. The only problem is that we will want to keep our child face to face even when he's over 9 kg - please make one for larger children as well!

curious

Would be interested to see this mounted on the +one, how much head space is left for child sitting in front? And probably attaching freer8der is easier too with rear-facing seat. Can you make a demo vodeo? Would be much appreciated!

face to face

Just received our face-to-face attachment for our Urban Jungle buggy. We took one spin around the block and I immediately noticed that there is no comfy strap cover like there is with the front facing seat. I guess I'll try to make one, as the straps hit right near baby's ears and don't seem all that comfy... Other than that, love the placement on the stroller- baby can see much more of what's going on than in her car seat. A nice transition before the front facing seat.

Great, for our 4 month old baby!

We tested the rear facing seat with a borrowed mountain buggy urban jungle. it is great for our 4 month old, which do not want to lie in the baby carrycot anymore, but is too small for the buggy, and still needs eye contact with its parents. Unfortunately the rear facing seat is not available for our mountain buggy swift model.

Love it!

Exactly what I wanted. Baby doesn't stress out or get upset anymore as she can now see me! Now you need to make the storm and sun covers..
