Things I've upgraded;
- bar tape
- tyres
- brake lever, don't expect the hand brake to stop the buggy, just slow it down with hand cramp.

Things that have annoyed me;
- the bassinet angles aren't great I.e. you can't always get it perfectly level.
- the weight capacity of the parent facing seat (converted from bassinet) is less than the actual bassinet! Buggy does not collapse as one with this seat on.
- rivets
- the pull out footrest never stays out unless you're stationary, it's also way too short.
- the food tray doesn't fit properly into the foam covered bumper bar.
- bumper bar doesn't come off/on easily
- buckle is very fiddly with five individual points to clip in each time, the straps naturally become too low down on baby when you recline the back rest, the padded shoulder bits come off every single time
- fold the buggy, the handle will touch the floor if you prop it up on its edge.
- expensive accessories (rain cover/ sun cover)
- recline function could be better, you can't get into the basket if fully reclined. Difficult if shopping with a sleeping baby.

Overall I do like this buggy, it allows me to get out onto the trails, I've really put it through its paces and I'm strong so have swung it around tree roots and through brambley narrow paths, plenty of muddy trails, snow, shops, as well as running (from 6months in main sling seat).
Some basic tweaks would make this a great buggy but it's priced well in the market so knock yourself out!

Worth every penny!

The Terrain buggy handles like no other. It can steers very light but also has the option to block the front weel for running when you want stability. We use it not only in the outdoors but everywhere we go.

You can transform it really easy and everything feels very solid.

We are using it now for our second child and it still feels like new!

After months of research looking for a suitable running pram for a World Record attempt. I landed on the Mountain Buggy Terrain. On my first test run I used it on the local athletics track and I immediately knew that if I was going to get the World Record, it would have been with this product. Tip, make sure the tyres are inflated enough as this makes all the difference if you want to go faster.

The helpful features such as the handbrake and large tyres gave me confidence in it when running at high speed with a fragile 8 month old baby strapped in. This worked perfectly for what I needed it for and my baby loves it. The pram has helped me bond with my baby while doing something I love.

Since the successful record attempt, I've put it through its paces on all kinds of terrain including trail, cobbles, grass and it is really sturdy and holds my baby in securely. Another feature which I didn't know it had originally was a tether for my wrist which comes in handy when going downhill in case you lose your grip.

I think Mountain Buggy thought of everything here. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I am so frustrated. I waited a long time for a grab bar which was back ordered. They sent me the wrong part (a brake assembly) instead of the grab bar. I can't seem to talk to anyone who is willing to help me. My emails go unanswered. Meanwhile I don't have a grab bar, I'm out money and I have a useless brake assembly. The lack of customer support is incredibly frustrating and not what I would expect from a company that makes great products.
