Easy to use
Written by: Sallymac
This buggy is so comfortable that sometimes my baby has his naps in it. It’s so easy to steer that I can use just one hand while I use my other hand to wrangle my dogs.
I just wish it was a bit lighter to carry when it’s folded up.
I have no regrets buying this buggy

I bought my urban jungle luxury collection 10 month ago cause I knew the sturdy quality and reliability from a friends one.. but I must say, after just a few month of usage the frame is squicking and the craftsmanship and fabric of this edition is not good. The sowing of the leather hand bar is opening up and the fabric itself does pilling. Even though I called mountain buggy before my purchase and had them convince me that they improved the fabric so it would not do pilling anymore.
Also the carry cot adapter broke easily and I didn't do crazy things to make it happen.
I also do miss some ventilation windows in the back/hood of the seat for hot days.. but I knew The UJ wouldn't have them.
It still carries me everywhere I go with little one, therefore two stars, but I just expected better quality...
Great pram but carrycot not as expected
Written by: SM17
We love mountain buggy products having used a previous model and recently purchased an urban jungle. However we are disappointed with the carrycot design; material is not as durable as we would have hoped for and the toggle fixtures are very faffy and not on par with previous models.
Extremely functional and practical

Amazingly easy to use, my partner who is an engineer is blown away with its features and craftsmanship. We cannot wait to try it out and about once our bub arrives!
Dodgy brake and poor service
Written by: MattL
Our hand brake has broken and I'm unable to find a replacement part. I have emailed this to mountain buggy, but have not received any reply even through the 'contact us' web portal. The color has faded significantly and the sun visor supports have become soft and misshapen. All in this has been a bit disappointing, especially the after sales service.
Fantastic buggy but bad assembly of carry cot
Written by: Nstone
We brought our Urban Jungle mountain buggy as we have friends who had one and thought it was fantastic for our lifestyle. The buggy itself is amazing, however we were very disappointed with the assembly of the carry cot. The instructions were very unclear and the images were misleading. Eventually we were able to put the carry cot together, it's a shame how stressful it was, but we will now enjoy the buggy!

We bought are UB a year ago after careful consideration. Now, a year later, I know I would have bought another one. I do not recommend this stroller at all.
The main reason why we picked this stroller was the smooth ride, the easy steering and easy maneuvering. These things are indeed the plusses of the UB. The frame is also solid and well built.
However, while using, you start to notice all the downsides, are there are so many.... The idea of the UB stroller is good, but god, what an awful and ugly execution!! The stroller has so much potential but a lot of changes will need to be made for that...
The carrycot plus:
-awful and cheap system to put the sunhood down
-fabrics: cheap, no quality
-fiddly and not practical to put on the frame and to take it off again
-outdated system in general really if you compare to other strollers nowadays
-parent facing seat: just a claim to compensate for the fixed seat, but in practice not usable: the baby should be able to lay down which he cannot in the parent facing seat. our baby had outgrown the carrycot and was still too small for the parent facing seat. we never used it. also very cheap execution, it doesn't seem safe neither.
-again: awful execution, basically a cloth hanging on the frame
-fiddly system to put the seat in horizontal position
-shoulder pads: they drop, so what's their use, also very cheap
-stitching: poor quality, not even even...
-bumper bar is fixed, you can not easily retract like you see in other strollers
-retractable leg rest does not stay, it always slides back inwards
-the sunhood is not big enough, also awful fabric (please look at other brands, a bit of design and decent fabrics make such a difference)
-the sunhood is attached to the seat by 3 simple press buttons, leaving 2 gaps on the sides. what a bad idea for an outdoor stroller that should be able to protect your child from sun and wind...
-The hinge of the push bar is quickly damaged because the buggy rests on it while folded
I am curious what the next model of urban jungle will look like :-)

There are so many great features with this pram but unfortunately the bad out weighs the good. We are currently onto our second one in just over twelve months and this one has done the same thing as the last one. The breaks have locked up the back wheels and one of the wheels has completely fallen off. For the money I would have expected it live a lot longer than what it has. So disappointed.
Great pram for first baby
Written by: Ashperth
We bought the mountain buggy not really knowing how it would go. But we have been very happy with how easy it is to transport. I can easily get it in and out of the car in one quick movement. It went on a domestic flight with us and the bag is a great addition and can be filled with other baby hear. The capsule and attachment is a must for a little baby.
Stylish and comfortable all road buggy
Written by: Juki
I switched to my new Mountain Buggy when my baby turned 5 months old and never used again the old buggy we had. Baby can lie flat, I have place for my water bottle and can go anywhere - forests, parks with brick roads, beach...and all eyes are on me - everybody notice the stylish buggy and are curious about the brand, because it's very rare in my country.
I would definitely recommend to buy this buggy if you are active family and like long walks.
What can be improved is the material - kind of canvas, but looks a bit cheap and not possible to use with white blanket, collects all the hairs and dust. Buying storm cover is a must, otherwise the child will free on a windy day. After 1 month use buggy makes some cracking sounds, seems like it will require some maintenance soon. Despite of this, it's a great buggy for me, I am happy I made a choice to buy Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle!!!

Absolutely love this pram, so easy to manoeuvre than my last pram. Plenty of space under pram for storage and love the accessories. I have the sleeping bag, so warm! The wool liner and storm cover. Great pram for walking especially on rough terrain. Thank you Mountain Buggy!
Great for walking
Written by: Amandalou
A friend recommended the mountain buggy for its hardiness and although our little boy is only 4 weeks old we can already see how much it will suit our lifestyle. We love walking and hiking and this buggy can cope with all sorts of uneven ground. It's equally good in the city too with great manoeuvrability!
8 years, 3 children and still going strong
Written by: ScottEastSussex
Without doubt the best children-related purchase we have made. As the review title suggests, it has been through the wars with three children, being used continuously over an eight year period and with at least another year or so to go before we contemplate it's well-earned retirement - although it will probably find another home with a brother/sister. Only point to note for would-be buyers is absolutely make sure you fill the tyres with puncture-resistant gel as it is very prone to thorns etc. We live in the country and so it's been a bit of a challenge. Also worth noting that the lie-flat cot attachment is one of the largest around so you shouldn't have any problems with the child getting too big before they're ready to move to sitting up. Although having said that, the normal buggy's lie-flat position is remarkably good. The cosy-toes attachment has also been great although we are onto the second as the first got completely worn out and the zip went.
Does it all!

My partner and I wanted a buggy that could do it all...we live in the Lake District with two Siberian Huskies and wanted something sturdy, lightweight, reliable over terrain and poppy.
This buggy also has plenty of storage, it's comfortable, looks great and it's manoeuvrable for the built up environment.
I'm very happy and can't imagine using any other brand now.
Stood the test of time

I bought this in 2012 and two kids later it's still meeting all our needs! It's brilliant at the beach, mall and off road. Love it!
So Light and Easy to Use!
Written by: mjhansen
We have found our Mountain Buggy to be so awesome! Love how light but sturdy it is. Great for walks and lifting in and out the car. It's easy to fold up and if you need extra room or it to fit into a smaller space, the wheels can also come off easily. Very versatile from going to the mall to going for a walk!
So easy to manouver!

We are delighted with the Urban Jungle - really easy to move around and chang between fittings. We definitely recommend the mountain buggy systems.
Best pre-baby purchase for my son
Written by: Jobuc
I purchased my urban jungle after doing LOADS of research! It has been the best purchase and the most used and most loved purchase that I bought prior to having my son. We have used it most days. It has been fantastic on many terrain including beach, bush tracks, mountain, snow, cycle way and shopping center. My son is so comfortable in it still at 17 months. It is easy to adjust between my husband and my height, easy to walk or run, and easy to lift into my car. I would recommend to anyone
The perfect all-terrain stroller!
Urban Jungle is the best all-terrain stroller I've ever had and I've had a few. The only thing I don't like about it is the new fabric.

I knew I wanted a mountain buggy very early on, I loved it being a New Zealand company and the ease of clipping the capsule on and off, not to mention the ease steering and collapsing to get in and out of the car. I have travelled both domestically and internationally with my buggy and the ease of just popping off the wheels makes it a breeze. I wouldn't consider anything else.
Such a practical and versatile pram!

I have recently borrowed a Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle pram from my sister and it has been awesome! We live in an area where there is a mix of on and off road terrain, and the urban jungle handled all conditions with ease. My wife often runs with the pram with no issues. I would highly recommend the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle to any parent.
Now she wants it back in a month for her soon to be born 2nd child, so will definitely be buying a new one of our own!

I love my urban jungle! It has been great, we started out with the capsule attachment, which was a huge help as a first time mum! Straight from car seat to buggy.
We also used the carry cot which was great to pop on the pram and if we were going to a bbq or a friends, she would happily sleep in and we could pop her in a quiet room.
We then switched to the main Buggy attachment which has also been great she can lie down and have a sleep, sit up and see what is going on, it even saved me when she was fussy taking her bottle while we were out, easily distracted! But in her own private buggy she takes it and then has a sleep. Life saver!

We love the adaptability of our Urban jungle from withstanding our bumpy country roads to manouvering around the supermarket. The height adjusting handle fits both me and my taller than average husband. But most of all we like the flexibility for it to grow with our little one from bassinet, car seat adaptor and stroller. It has meant we haven't had a to buy several different prams. Thanks Mountain Buggy!

I was after a sturdy pram that I could do a lot of walking with that was also suitable from birth.
The Mount Buggy Urgan Jungle was a reasonable price. It's good for doing lots of walking, I walk maybe 5-10km a day. I have the bassinet attachment for my newborn and it's nice and stable.
It steers very easily and has an adjustable handle which is great for tall people.
I am very happy with this pram for every day walking.

Our buggy has been used for 6 years & has survived being walked down the beach every day, numerous holidays overseas & has travelled thousands of kilometres to & from school/kindy! Now we're onto child number 2 & it's still going strong! So easy to manoeuvre even over the earthquake damaged streets of CHRISTCHURCH, can't recommend it enough

Prefer older models over new 2016 model
Written by: TwoKidsOneDog
was a proud owner of the Mountain Buggy Terrain in 2011. I LOVED that stroller and used it everyday with my son to take our dog on a run. It went through mud and back and still looked great! Fast forward to the newest model (2016) of the Urban Jungle. I bought it in the black color and do not like so many features of the new stroller. I ended up returning the stroller and ordering the older model (2015 in Ocean color) which is a million times better. My biggest complaint about the 2016 is that the fabric is horrible. The stroller was brand new, but there were colorations in the fabric that made it look worn. The fabric also picks up EVERY SINGLE piece of dirt, dust, lint, etc. The sun cover did not fit properly either. As much as I tried to line up the sun cover it would not line up exact. The stroller itself is lighter and folds smaller, but it does not feel as robust and stable as the older models. I also prefer the fold of the older 2015 model. My last complaint about the 2016 model is that the bar on the front of the stroller folds too easily. My baby likes to hold on to the bar and the one on the 2016 folds down when the baby holds on to it. It does not stay in place like the older models. I love Mountain Buggy from 2015, but would be aware of the differences when purchasing the latest 2016 model.
I couldn't be happier with this pram
Written by: ClaireW81
I love this pram! Fell into the trap of buying a RedsBaby Bounce to begin with but seriously that pram is only good for very flat terrain such as the mall or a well maintained footpath, not to mention the very short toddler seat which my 6 month old has grown out of already. This pram on the other hand has been absolutely fantastic at handling all sorts of terrain. I go for very long walks and don't have many foot paths in my area. The pram handles bumpy and sloped terrain very well. The handle bar is adjustable and goes quite high (117 cm from memory) which has been great for me as I'm quite tall and takes the strain off your shoulders on those long walks. The seat size is suited to fit little babies right through to very tall kids up to 25 kg. This is a very good quality pram. The hood comes out quite a way and has an extra sun shade for those very sunny days. I also bought the extra sunshade which zips on to the hood as we are often out in the sun for long periods. The extra rain cover I bought also fits very well. I am super happy with this pram.
Lots to like

This is a great pram, it's that much bigger than the swift which I really like- my 1yo is happy in it but my 4yo is also comfortable in it. Love the new colours and that it comes with the matching liner. My only complaint is that on such a well constructed, sturdy pram the hood is ridiculously flimsy- It seems odd and out of place.
Brilliant buggy spoilt by odd manufacture choices

After a very long time researching which buggy to buy next (I've had a Bugaboo Chamelian, bugaboo donkey, McCartney techno and a mamas and papas) I decided mountain buggy urban jungle was the perfect all rounder- great off roader but not too big for town and shops and car. I have to agree with the countless reviews of excellence in terms of manoeuvrability and lightweight creds. It fits in the boot of our Audi A3 and easily in the landrover. There are a lot of pros. But I am so so so disappointed at the fabric!! The "soft touch fabric" is the most ridiculous material to use for a pushchair!! It is a complete magnet for dirt, fluff, hair, dust and seemingly, even fingerprints!! I have the all black version which I stupidly thought would look newer longer... It is only 3 weeks old and looks about a year old! My friend even said in the school playground "that's not your new pushchair is it?!" I haven't even been "off roading" mainly in the car on school run, twice to the shops and a couple of village walks! I was going to get a mountain buggy seat liner when I saw the nicely included swatch of coloured fabrics they're available in but there's no way I'm doing that now!! I'll see if my bugaboo one will fit! Very sad as my new pushchair looks a state and doesn't clean up properly either. The hood bars were also badly bent when I opened the box so the hood doesn't sit straight or pull open properly. A real shame as the actual pushchair design is really great but I actually wouldn't recommend it to friends because it looks so old and tatty already... Not what you want for a £500 purchase!!! both my bugaboos looked pristine after 2 years and cleaned up really easily when muddy or grubby fingers were on it! ...and they had rain covers included!
