Recently we were pleasantly surprised to find our Mountain Buggy terrain in the very royal and very capable hands of Zara Phillips whilst attending a charity event in Wales…
On one of the warmest days of the year so far, Zara, her husband Mike Tindall, four-month-old baby girl Mia and sister-in-law Autumn made an outing to support Mike’s involvement in the hosting of a charity golf tournament in Newport, Wales.
The tournament proved to be a big success with celebrities and sports stars such as, Dragon's Den businessman Peter Jones, Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave and TV presenters Zoe Hardman and Natalie Pinkham all helping to raise funds for Rugby For Heroes and the On Course Foundation at the Celtic Manor Resort.
Zara looked like a wonderful doting Mum to baby Mia as she strolled along the course green with her Mountain Buggy terrain , whilst watching the progress of the tournament and chatting to sister-in-law Autumn, who was relishing the time to get some major cuddles in with her adorable niece.
At the end of the tournament Mike commented that…
“The inaugural event was a huge success and was attended by a variety of great companies with a fantastic collection of celebrities who generously gave their time to enjoy the day with our guests. Most importantly, we raised a substantial amount of much needed funds for the charities that we chose to support.
As patron of Rugby For Heroes I felt that this was a good opportunity to raise funds to provide support and assistance for individuals as they make the transition from the military back into civilian life.”
To finish off he made a nod to his royal wife stating “I always feel that a happy Wife is a happy life."
Mighty fine words Mike!
