Our 11 month old twins have one each. We bomb round the house with them. We'd hoped they might be steady on them by the summer but the design is so good they were steady from the off and our little girl is still tiny. They love it and it'll be an easy way to get them around on the summer holiday.

Bought this for our son for Christmas, as soon as it was unwrapped and built he climbed on and did not want to stop. He was riding around with a huge smile on his face, and when I got tired of pushing him I would put it down and he would try and pick it up himself and would drag it over to somebody else to push him around. I need to get a fit bit to track how many KM's I am walking around the kitchen and dining room. It will be nice when the snow melts and we can take it around town.

Both my daughter and me love it. She feels very grown-up riding it (we used a push-chair until a month ago). I love how you can get pass cars parked on the pavement where most push-chairs wouldn't fit. It's easy to push and feels safe.
So cool and such a head turner!!

We've only had our unirider for two weeks now, but WOW it's amazing! My 2 yr old absolutely loves it and my 1 yr old is itching to get on it already (unfortunately my 5 yr old is too big for it, much to his disgust). Such a cool, unique, fun ride, easy to manoeuvre and great quality...turns kids and adults heads wherever we go and they always ask "Where did you get that!?!". A BIG WIN for our family :)

Great product. Our 2 year old absolutely loves the freedom she has to get on and off the Unirider as she pleases. Much better than a buggy and so much easier to travel around with. She has already learned new tricks like no hands, no feet and standing up. Her balance and core strength has improved noticeably.

We love this thing. Perfect for our 2yo.
!Parenting Tip! When going over large bumps, hold your handle LOW. We learned the hard way, as I watched my daughter superman over the front. Totally my fault, as I lifted the handle to gain momentum/leverage.

I bought this for my 2 and half year old, he's starting to dislike the pram but struggles with long distances, we cover about a mile and a half on it, keeps him safe on the roads and has the freedom to wander in safer places, he is very confident with balancing and has to be reminded to hold on. My five year old also likes an occasional short ride. It is heavier than I expected but needs to be to be sturdy enough to hold him. It takes me 2 hands to balance it so doesn't leave me with a free hand for the five year old but I would say this is the only downside, it's definitely made trips out easier.

We've got a 3-year old, and he's at that stage where he wants to walk but runs out of enthusiasm part-way and demands to be carried. So, rather than schlepping everywhere with a massive buggy, this looked like the perfect compromise. And it is! Light and fairly small, you can take it out with you and stick him on it when needed. The bonus being, he LOVES it! It's great fun on top of that wheel; I think largely because it does feel a little less stable than two or four wheels, and that feeling of uncertainty really appeals to a toddler.
Plus, I'm sure it gives me a bit of a gentle workout, too! Takes a little effort to manoeuvre it, unless it's flat tarmac. But it does seem very capable off-road. And the bouncier the better, for little Oscar.
Great bit of kit. Get one!!
Light and great for storage

I received my order Unirider,
And there was no air in Tire so I went to cycling shop to put air into Tire.
After 1 day, air goes out again.
I tried 2 times but each time the air went off after 1-2 days.
It should be initial problem of product.
What can I do for this to solve?
Same action as a bicycle to fix Tire punk?
Kindly support me.

I bought this because my son was too big for a buggy and the buggy was too big for the bus. He is 3 and balances on it brilliantly. He is so happy in it and will ride on it for quite a while. His feet have never slipped off. And I get envious looks everywhere I go. It saves me so much time getting from A to B every day. It's cool. It's convenient. It's lightweight. It's the perfect next step. I now wear a back pack and so does my son. We're all set.

I bought this for my 2.5yr old son for Christmas, he loves it! He is difficult to control in public spaces as he refuses to ride in a stroller, preferring to run off at a moment's opportunity. The unirider is lightweight, easy to carry/store and is great fun. It has successfully navigated playgrounds and shopping centres alike. The clean line design is eye catching. Very happy with our purchase.

Quality of the Unirider is excellent as I find with all of my Mountain Buggy products.
My toddler finds it great fun to ride on. Its a great option when I don't want to take the buggy but my boy might get tired without it. It easily goes over small bumps on the path because of the air filled tyre. Very smooth to push. Keeps your back upright also which is very important for me. Good purchase

I cannot recommend this product enough! As soon as we received the Unirider (we have named it zoomer) we unpacked and put it up within minutes. My son took a few minutes to get used to it but that didn't take long, he just had to learn how to balance. We have been out on a few walks and he absolutely loves it. We can run with it or just take a nice walk. Everyone looks and asks where it is from. I love mountain buggy products for their clever designs and this one is just as amazing. Thank you for making my life a bit easier.

The gift was a spontaneous decision when I saw a video on Facebook. I don't regret buying it although my wife was doubtful she would be able to balance. Right out of the box, she was holding on and we were doing laps in the house. Next day we went out with me on skates and her in the unirider. The pic says it all! Definitely got praise from other young dads on cool factor. Telling everyone about it. Great frame, built with good material, and the tire looks sturdy to handle some rough terrain. Thanks!

I bought this as my 3yo is too big for a tricycle, but not old enough to walk far without wanting to go on my shoulders. He absolutely loves riding it, and I'm happy to not be carrying him any more when he is tired. It is well designed and when you get the centre of balance right it is effortless to push. It is easy to weave through crowded areas with it and it also fits on a train luggage rack.
The only minor criticism is that you need both hands to use this, so carrying bags or holding another child's hand at the same time is not possible. My 5yo (taller than average) daughter isn't so keen as her legs are a bit too long for it.

We've been using it for the nursery run for a few months now and we love it. It's fantastic for little legs that get tired easily but also great for children that are a little too big for a stroller but too small to keep up with mom or dad. My three year old asks to use it every day. Makes journeys much quicker. Definitely worth the money :)

I was worried my 2yr old wouldn't have the balance to ride, couple hours later we're zipping up and down the street. Now I can't get him off of it. If you don't have a unirider, I recommend picking one up, it is so choice.

I love my terrain but my 2 year refuses to get in so we thought we would try the unirider. We love it! So much fun. It does take a little getting used to at the beginning but now he hops on and the kids at playgroup line up to take a turn.
The only thing I would say is I wish the handles were foam as when it's hot, my hands get a bit slippy and it's a little difficult to get a good grip but other than that we love it.

"What an excellent product". I bought this for our holiday in August, I wanted something to be able to go on coastal walk, that wasn't a buggy. My daughter is 3 and on the tall side for her age. Only found this 5 days before we left but it arrived just in time. Putting together is simple, and it's doesn't take up much room. First time on it she was a bit wobbly but within 20 mins she was asking me to go faster and was loving it. We have used it a lot since as it ideal when we walk in and around town. We have had so many people ask were we got it and how can we they get one. Love this product, thank you to the man who invented it. Friends have also bought one for holidays after seeing how great it is.

Only negative is it is awkward to store, would be great if there was some kind of stand or something that allowed it to stand up.

We have only had the unirider for 3 weeks and my two and half year old absolutely loves it. Only took her a couple of rides for her to gain confidence and balance. Very easy to use, I am now confident enough to hold with just one hand while running. We have taken to the park, off road and to the beach as it handles most terrains well. Postage was really quick and it was very easy to assemble.

My daughter loves it and is very happy to use it. it really is a great solution for toddlers who can't walk too far or if you need to get somewhere quickly. However I have found a few areas that could be improved.
- it's not quite as light and easy to use as I hoped. I find it hard to keep her straight and my wrists hurt after a short time. My husband can use it no problem. Neither of us could use it one handed as is suggested.
- it's a sturdy piece of kit so if your child decides they want to get off you are lumbered with a big heavy pole to carry and a toddler to manage.
- it would be so helpful to have the pole easily retract into its self.
- I'm a bit wary leaving it out of view in a busy place. Some inbuilt loop that a bike lock could be secured to would be helpful
- as would a way for it to stand securely upright as its a bit of a trip hazard.
Kids love it, but it's a pain in my arms!

I think this product it is a great concept, but I personally find it uncomfortable to push for very long - my forearms start hurting. I am not sure how anyone could run with it. My 4 year son loves riding on it though & my 16 month old can't wait until he's a bit bigger to start using it

I bought the unirider as soon as I could, after a chance meeting with a friend of the designer in my home town. It has been brilliant! The first few weeks of using it are a little tense as you get used to it and you take a lot of strain in your wrist, but I can now push it with 1 hand and it's totally relaxed. My son immediately took to it (aged 2 & 3 quarters) and he now leans and steers it and occasionally will lean back, shout "whoo hoo" and lift his legs off and has recently learnt he can let go and still stay upright (so it has been brilliant for his balance and stomach strength). I've let older children on it, aged 5, ride but they do only want to use it as a fun toy or something to ride on whilst being pushed along and chased, but for any child aged 2 or 3, it's a brilliant transportation gadget. Drawbacks: the handle doesn't fold down (although it can be dismantled) and so it won't fit in the boot of a small car unless the seats are down, because of what it us (1 wheel) you can't stand it up and so when you get to the park in super quick time you will have to lie it flat otherwise it will fall down and it's metal and so can cause damage. final drawback is that it's hard to get up a bump or kerb stone more than about 15cm high and you don't realise how many there are until you start using it. You could do a jog/run with this (a helmet definitely would be needed) but be careful if you could hit any small holes or bumps on your route as the child would fly upwards! To end on a positive, as I really do love this product, it has been brilliant - we use it to get to parks, walk around arboretums, run to the sea on the beach (it has been in water too which was fun!), and generally get from A to B in a fun, quick way and it has helped my nearly 3 year old build up confidence and skills on his balance bike too.

I saw an advertisement for the Unirider in Facebook and immediately knew my then one year old *had* to have it! We gave it to our toddler the month before she turned two as an early birthday present and it was love at first ride!
It took Kay ( our daughter) less than 5 minutes to figure out how to ride on it. The learning curve was a little bit steeper for my husband and I and it took us a few rides to figure out the what works best for us to maneuver it. I am 4'11 and he is 6'3 yet both of us find it very easy to push the unirider.
Kay asks to "go riding please!" Everyday!
There are so many things we love about the unirider.
The color: We are firm believers that there are no girl and boy toys! I love the fact that the unirider is a lovely bright yellow that welcomes kids and parents of all genders!
The Maneuverability: It's amazing how easy the unirider is to manage. We have taken it on gravel, grass, sidewalks. It's has no problems " jumping the curb" and I have no problems pushing it over the curb to get on the curb or get off it. Kay's favourite part is "riding the curb" as she calls it where we ride on the narrow edge of the side walk.
Unique: there isn't anything else on the market like it! We have a popular balance bike as well but Kay choses the Unirider every single time over the balance bike. No matter where we are we turn heads. People roll down their car windows to yell " That's so cool!". I've had many grandparents ask me where to buy one for their grand kids!
Fun: Riding the Unirider is always fun because everytime we take it out we discover something new it can do. It brings out a lot of giggles both from Kay and me!
Price point: Considering all the ride on toys there are on the market, I strongly feel that the Unirider very competitively priced. The quality is amazing and I can see at least three more years of riding ahead of us.
Compact: The unirider is compact and is easily stored if you don't have much space. It's also a great alternative to strollers and it's so easy to just stick it in the back of the car and take it with us on the go. It keeps the toddler more actively engaged when we are out and about. We are looking forward to taking it with us on camping trips later this year.
Over all this is an absolute wonderful and fun product that I think should be a childhood staple! There are so many fun memories to be made!
*I have not been compensated in anyway to write this review. We absolutely love the unirider and hope this review helps you take the plunge :)

We've had it the Unirider for a month and just love it. The wheel does deflate after about 4 weeks but we just reinflate and off we go. We bought this last week and my 3 year old loves it. I thought it may take him a few goes to get his balance, but straight away he was on and off we went. So far we used it around the shopping centre and on the high street, the best part is he can hop on and off, and we're not left pushing around a big empty pram, just holding a reasonably light pole with a wheel. It's fun, it stops him from running off in the shops, and he loves the fact he's not confined to a pram.
I will say I find it harder to push than my husband, you have to bear in mind that when their weight shifts to one side or the other, there is nothing but you holding the handle to keep it/your child upright and obviously it's all rather top heavy. However building up a bit of pace does help this.
It won't replace our pram totally yet, but great for those short little trips out and about.
Disappointed, a waste of money

I thought this was such an ingenious idea and the answer to our challenge where Mr-almost-3 thinks he's too old to go in the pram but cannot walk too far without wanting to be carried. When I read about Mountain Buggy's collaboration with a father to solve this same issue I thought GENIUS! Unfortunately, I have been so disappointed with the product it is now sitting in a cupboard and will unlikely get used. It seems to be more of a novelty toy item rather than a legitimate transportation alternative for a toddler or young child. The child requires substantial balance skills to hover on the front of the bike and the parent bears the brunt of most of their weight. We were able to push our son for roughly 10m before it became too awkward, heavy and unwieldy for my son, my husband or I. Such a shame. May be better for older kids but I can't see you being able to push a child to the shops or around the place on one of these. Maybe as a bit of a fun ride but the marketing and images seem misleading to me.
Instantly became our children's favorite activity!

The unirider has surpassed my expectations and it has turned heads in my neighborhood from the moment I took it out of the package and put my son on it for the first time. To put it simply, it's just FUN! We bought it for our two year old but our 4 and 5 year olds have loved riding on it too! It's a breeze to use and it helps your little one work on balance while keeping them involved, because they have to hold on while you push.
It has quickly become our children's most favorite activity and they can't wait until their turn. We have had it for a few weeks now and we have used it every day the weather has permitted!!
With the rubber wheel it is so easy to go from pavement to grass, gravel, or rocks. It goes over everything so easily! We have absolutely loved having the unirider and I've been stopped multiple times by parents and passerbys asking what it was and where to buy one!! It is so cool!!
