Poor design for some cars-check compatibility

I bought this and was initially very happy as the convenience of clicking the protect in and out was great in my Impreza. However, I bought a Mitsubishi Outlander and the base does NOT fit the isofix because the fixings on the base are rigid so it sits up at an angle that means the capsule can't be at its required recline for baby's airway. I am now having to buy the seatbelt basefix base. Other manufacturers make their bases isofix AND seatbelt compatible (i.e. have one base system for either). Mountain buggy need to list compatible/incompatible cars on their webpage as it's an expensive mistake to get the wrong base.
Problems with ISOFIX base

We bought this about a week ago. On installation, the ISOFIX arms did not lock off properly and the base moved around a lot more than seemed safe - 5 to 10 cm of wobble from side to side. plus the arms were disturbingly easy to dislodge completely e.g. From a light knock. Swapped for seat belt secured base which was much much more secure.

brought this and install was easy, under 5 minutes. The difference to life is fantastic simply clicking in and out and off rather than playing around with the seat belt
