As soon as I received my Mountain Buggy Mini, I dove into the box (not literally) to check it out.
All I had to do was pop the wheels and hood on and it was ready to go. The first thing I noticed was that it was so lightweight. There was just no bulk to it at all. I practiced the one hand fold, the seat positions and the hood adjustment. I always check how to collapse a new pram before I head out, having learned the hard way in the past. Within a few minutes of trying out the MB mini , I was confident enough to take it out for a spin.
We took a trip to Taronga Zoo in Sydney. My 2 year old son sat back and enjoyed the ride. He walked for half the journey around the zoo, but I was grateful to have the MB mini the whole time to carry our bags and to lean on when I was tired.
The MB mini breezed around the paths and walk-in enclosures of the zoo. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to push around in the carpeted indoor displays. When my son was walking, it was easy to lift the MB mini up and down stairs, instead of taking the long route to a ramp. Towards the end of our visit, we were all glad that we had taken the MB mini . The little passenger was the most grateful! It was so easy to get in and out of the car boot, a breeze to push around the zoo and to pick up when needed.
