When we got back to the UK and started settling back into real life, we got the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle system. Now I feel like a grown up, we have a proper buggy, not just a travel one – and it’s really nice! I feel a bit like a posh mum pushing it around the streets, it looks really smart, especially with the nautical colour scheme and tan leather edging. I’ve even had a dad stop me and ask me where I got it!

OHbaby review

"The urban jungle has all the features you would expect: great suspension, ease of use, flexibility and so on, but what you can’t see in the pictures is how intuitive it is and in the end I think that’s the mark of a great product, in fact - a great gadget! We have babies, we are busy and stressed and tired and we cannot be bothered working stuff out - we just want it to work, as we would expect it to, every single time. We want it to be one thing in our lives that we don’t have to think about, because someone else spent years thinking about it for us! The Mountain Buggy range has obviously been created by parents and I’m grateful to them - for letting me buy one last gadget, one that is exactly what I need it to be, while also being just a tiny bit cool." "Mountain Buggy are undergoing a bit of a design and style revolution right now. The introduction of their luxury collection signifies their intention to move the brand further into the luxury end of the market. We have our hands on their brand new Urban Jungle Luxury Collection in Pepita. How does it fare in our Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle Review?"

"If you love weekend walking in the wild, but can be seen in the shops in the week, the Urban Jungle is probably your perfect pushchair. Just wait until you push it."

"So close to perfect that it almost seems designed by a particularly persnickety committee of parents, the rejiggered 2015 Luxury Collection stroller distinguishes itself from  earlier Urban Jungle models  with details both practical and aesthetic. Looks first: The stroller’s fabric parts are so gorgeous they’ll draw stares on the street, particularly the seat pad and canopy. Even the seat’s plain parts are made of tough-but-soft canvas, which is more sophisticated-looking than Mountain Buggy’s semi-shiny, sporty fabrics. The stroller’s leather push bar is creamy smooth too, so much nicer to touch than typical push-bar foam. Looks aside, the Mountain Buggy works seamlessly. The ride is super-smooth, and it takes minimal force to pop up the front wheels to go over curbs or bumps in the road. The Buggy folds with a couple of easy single-handed moves and locks automatically—no wonky locking mechanism that doesn’t catch on the first try. Once folded, it stands independently, and it can be carried via a side strap or wheeled behind the parent like a rolling suitcase. One final detail we adore: The vast and sturdy under-seat gear tray is easy to access and boasts 4 pockets, including 2 zippered ones for phones, wallets, or other valuables. No more worrying someone’s going to snatch your phone while you’re across the playground!"

"One thing I’ve found really great about this buggy is that the brake is on the handle bar... Also the automatic frame lock is fantastic – I don’t have to muck about trying to make clips fit – It just happens and then unlocks easily when unfolding the buggy.
The storage underneath is spacious and easy to access, there is plenty of room for my daily supermarket shop and the pockets at the rear are perfect for the essentials, wallet, phone and keys. Plus the drink bottle holder by the handle is very handy.
My little boy is 9 weeks old now and very long, going to be tall like his Dad. He still fits in the carry cot, even though he had grown out of his Moses basket at 4 weeks old, and we both love that he can face me on our walks. I’m glad that when the time comes and he grows out of the carry cot we will be able to adjust it so he can still face me in the parent facing seat. I never realised before how important this was to me, it’s so much nicer being able to see my baby on our strolls." - Sarahtj via OHbaby!

" Mountain Buggy’s new Urban Jungle Luxury Collection is the result of lots of parents’ feedback (love that they listen to what we have to say), world-class engineering, craftsmanship and fashion tailoring...

It’s ultra adaptability means it can take additional Mountain Buggy accessories like the carrycot plus – the world’s first carrycot that can transform from lie flat, to an inclined angle for the babies that suffer from reflux, to a parent facing seat for the older child, as well as the protect infant car seat,  freerider  (big brothers + sisters LOVE this feature) and food tray." - 100 Layer Cakelet
